Hurt at Work? Call the WCB

Reporting workplace injuries to the WCB connects you with benefits:

To report an injury:

  • Call 204-954-4100 in Winnipeg or toll free 1-855-954-4321
  • Employers can also report online

Workers have a right to report workplace injuries directly to the WCB and employers are required to report the injury to the WCB within five working days of the incident.

No one is allowed to discourage a worker from reporting their workplace injury in any way. It is illegal for an employer to discipline or fire a worker for reporting a workplace injury. If you suspect claim suppression, discriminatory action or other program abuse, call 204-888-8081, toll free 1-844-888-8081 or email compliance@wcb.mb.ca.

For more information on how to report an injury, visit how to file a claim: Workers or Employers.
